Geography
At Hollycroft Primary School, Geography is taught using the Kapow Primary scheme of work. This curriculum provides a clear and progressive approach that helps pupils develop their knowledge and understanding of the world around them.
Through engaging lessons and enquiry-based learning, pupils explore both physical and human geography, learning about places, environments and the ways people interact with the world. Kapow Primary supports the development of key geographical skills such as map reading, fieldwork and critical thinking.
Our aim is for pupils to develop curiosity about the world, understand global connections and appreciate the diversity of places and cultures. Geography at our school encourages children to think about how environments change and how we can care for our planet.
