Handwriting
At Hollycroft, we teach handwriting through the scheme 'letter join'.
Our EYFS are taught 'print' letters. They are taught handwriting explicitly, but also through our phonics and English schemes.
We have chosen to teach our KS1 and KS2 pupils the cursive handwriting technique as it is believed to accelerate their joining up of writing, spelling and overall presentation.
